The 2 Nights 3 Days package is the full Sundarban trip and the one we recommend to first-time visitors. It starts at Rs. 5,500 per person plus 5% GST for a basic cottage, Rs. 6,300 for deluxe and Rs. 7,500 for the premium organic cottage, with a minimum of four guests.
The reason the extra night is worth paying for is arithmetic, not luxury. Sightings in the Sundarbans are largely a function of how many hours you spend on the water, and this package gives you more of them than any of our shorter tours. More creeks, more watchtowers, and the two things a rushed trip always cuts: a proper village walk and an unhurried final morning.
You also get the delta at both of its good hours. The light at 6:30 am and the light around 5:00 pm are when the forest is actually awake, and a day trip is on the road for both of them.

Three unforgettable days through the villages, waterways, mangroves and wildlife of the Sundarbans.
Journey from Calcutta to Godkhali and onward to the eco village on Satjelia Island, with village life, birdwatching and an enchanting evening with local musicians.
Meet us at our office at 4 Tottee Lane and leave Calcutta by car, van or mini bus towards Godkhali, with a washroom break on the way. Pickup from Science City at 9:00 AM is also available.
Enjoy a simple breakfast of fresh vegetable sandwiches before continuing the journey.
Arrive at Godkhali and choose between crossing Gosaba Island, which takes about an hour and a half, or taking a direct engine boat, which takes two and a half to three hours depending on the tide.
Reach the eco village on Satjelia Island. Enjoy simple home-cooked food with a vegetarian or non-vegetarian choice, including rice, dal, three vegetables, papad, chutney, salad and fish curry.
Walk through the village and paddy fields while observing local rituals and daily practices of a community living at the edge of a tiger reserve.
Take a one to two hour country boat ride through the creeks. Look for seven species of kingfisher, along with egrets, Brahminy kites, pond herons and cormorants. The ride ends with sunset over the water.
Return to the eco village and relax with black tea and freshly fried vegetable pakoras.
Enjoy an enchanting evening with local musicians and their age-old traditional instruments.
Enjoy dinner at the eco village before settling in for the night.
Spend a full day exploring the tiger reserve by boat, visiting three watchtowers and staying on the water until sunset.
Start as early as possible aboard one of our four boats and head into the tiger reserve for a full day of exploration.
Explore the reserve and visit three watchtowers while cruising through the waterways and mangrove forests.
Lunch is served on board while cruising through the channels and taking in the wilderness around you.
Continue exploring the tiger reserve by boat, watching the mangrove banks and waterways for wildlife throughout the afternoon.
Take a break and enjoy tea and snacks while surrounded by the waterways of the Sundarbans.
Return to the eco village after a full day exploring the tiger reserve.
Enjoy a local music session or a performance of the Bonobibi Pala, the folk drama of the forest goddess and the tiger deity, accompanied by snacks and herbal tea.
Enjoy dinner at the eco village, followed by a peaceful night's rest.
Begin your final morning with a peaceful village experience before breakfast and the journey back to Kolkata.
Start the morning with a relaxed village walk or visit the lily pond, depending on what you feel like and what the tide is doing.
Enjoy breakfast at the eco village and then prepare for the journey back towards Kolkata.
Arrive at Godkhali and transfer to your vehicle for the onward journey.
Complete your journey and arrive back in Kolkata, carrying memories of the Sundarbans.

If you have only two days free, the 1 Night 2 Days package covers the core watchtowers well. If you have four, look at the Purely Wild 3 Nights 4 Days.

It is the one we recommend. It gives you a full uninterrupted day inside the reserve instead of a rushed one, covers more creeks and watchtowers, and leaves room for the village walk and the slow final morning that shorter tours cut. It is also our most booked package.
Rs. 5,500 per person plus 5% GST for a basic cottage, Rs. 6,300 for a deluxe cottage with air conditioning, and Rs. 7,500 for a premium organic cottage. That covers road transfer from Kolkata, the stay, all meals, safaris, permits and the guide.
Yes, and it is the only honest lever. Sundarban tigers swim between islands and move through dense mangrove, so no operator can guarantee a sighting. What increases your odds is hours on the water across different zones and different tides, which is exactly what the extra night buys.
Four guests for the group rate. If we do not have an existing group on your chosen date, you can still travel at the equivalent cost as a private trip. Maximum group size is 20, and you get a full refund if we cannot run your date.
Between 3:00 and 3:30 pm. You have breakfast at the eco village, reach Godkhali by noon, and drive back from there. An evening train or flight out of Kolkata is comfortable on day three.
EXCELLENT Based on 344 reviews Posted on Google Surjesh Kumar KunduTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Comfortable and easy experience. Do not go with the claim of Tiger visibility. You might just not be able to see a Tiger but definitely you will enjoy the boat rides, great tasting home food and the warm, homely ambience. The tour guides and other staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Posted on Google HASNAIN HyzelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Treats the soulPosted on Google WondererTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very good overall experience. The most important thing to say is: this is not a safari. The chances of seeing a tiger are extremely low, and crocodiles are also difficult to spot (we saw one very far away). We did see several deer, wild boars, and many birds, but wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Still, the area is unique, peaceful, and definitely worth visiting for the landscape and atmosphere. I recommend doing 2 days / 1–2 nights. The journey from Kolkata is long (around 4–5 hours each way), so a one-day tour feels too rushed. More than two days would probably be unnecessary, as it can become a bit repetitive. The service was excellent throughout — guide, drivers, boat crew, and eco-village staff were all very kind and professional. The food, both at the resort and on the boat, was very good: tasty, clean, and plentiful. I stayed in the deluxe room. In February, air conditioning wasn’t really necessary, so I would probably choose a standard room if visiting in this season (they even looked slightly nicer to me). In hotter months, AC might be more relevant. I didn’t compare prices extensively, but this operator seems oriented toward international travelers. I saw local tourists as well, who probably use more budget options, though those may be less adapted for English-speaking visitors. Overall: well organized, great staff, and a worthwhile experience if you go with realistic expectations.Posted on Google David STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This tour was a great experience! The trip felt very peaceful and calm, with very few people around, which made it relaxing and completely free from crowds or stress. The team was extremely attentive throughout the stay. They were always checking in on us, making sure everything was clear and straightforward. Their support and helpfulness really stood out and made the experience smooth from start to finish. The food was also amazing, easily one of the highlights of the trip. The eco village accommodation was quite rustic. This is understandable given the environmental context and the aim of staying close to nature. However, the overall comfort of the rooms could definitely be improved. I was also a bit surprised by the limited wildlife sightings. Given how vast the Sundarbans area is, I expected to see more fauna. The park tour includes visits to a couple of watchtowers to view the forest from above, but the views felt quite limited, so I am not sure how helpful they really are for spotting wildlife. Despite these points, the overall experience was still very positive, mainly due to the tranquility, the attentive staff, and the excellent food.Posted on Google Richa RawatTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
