Purely Wild is a 3 Nights 4 Days Sundarban tiger safari that goes into the parts of the reserve the standard packages never reach. Three full-day safaris with a small group and a spotter who has worked these creeks for years.
This is not a scenic tour with a tiger as a bonus. The itinerary is built around where tigers actually move: narrow channels at the right tide, the pug-mark banks at Netidhopani, and the long river cruises through Buridabri that most boats do not have the permits or the days to attempt. The trade-off is comfort and variety. There is no shopping stop, no packed cultural calendar, and long hours on the water.
If that is what you came for, this is the tour. If you want four days in the delta at a gentler pace, take Wild Quest instead.

Four unforgettable days through the Sundarbans.
Pickup from Kolkata, then a boat cruise through the delta towards the eco village. On the way in, a country boat ride at the Jotirampur bird sanctuary, mostly for birds and for getting your eye in before the real safari days start. Check in at the eco village, dinner, and an early night.

A full day exploring the Netidhopani circuit, through narrow channels and creeks in a part of the reserve that carries far less boat traffic than the standard loop. This is the circuit that requires the extra days, and it is where sign of tiger movement is most commonly found. Meals are served on board. You are on the water from early morning until the light goes.

A full day on the Buridabri circuit, with long river cruises along the Bangladesh border. This is the most remote stretch of the Indian Sundarbans that tourist boats are permitted to enter, and the day with the fewest other boats on the water.

On the way back you cover the Dobanki canopy walk and the Sudhanyakhali watchtower, where the sweet-water pond draws deer and wild boar down to drink. Then the return journey to Kolkata.

Nobody can guarantee a tiger in the Sundarbans, and any operator who does is selling you something. The Sundarban tiger swims, moves through mangrove too dense to see into, and is thinly spread across 4,000 square kilometres of delta.
What this tour does is stack the odds. Three safaris instead of one. Remote circuits instead of the standard loop. A small group, so the boat can hold position quietly instead of moving on. And a spotter who reads the banks for pug marks, drag marks and the alarm calls that come before anything is visible.
Sightings on this tour are meaningfully more likely than on a weekend package. They are still not certain.

The Netidhopani and Buridabri circuits carry the least boat traffic and the most consistent sign of tiger movement, which is why this tour is built around them. Sudhanyakhali and Dobanki are the reliable watchtower zones for deer, wild boar and crocodile, and are covered on day four.
No, and no operator can guarantee one honestly. Sundarban tigers swim between islands and move through mangrove too dense to see into. Three safaris across remote circuits with a small group and an experienced spotter gives you the best odds available, not a certainty.
It runs as a small group. Keeping numbers low matters on the remote circuits, because a quiet boat that can hold position is the difference between seeing something and hearing it leave. Contact us to confirm current group sizes for your dates.
The huts on this tour are non-AC by design, since it runs into the remote parts of the delta. From November to February that is comfortable. If you want air conditioning, the Wild Quest tour and the 2 Nights 3 Days package both offer deluxe and premium cottages.
No. It needs both the permits and the days, which is why most Sundarban packages never go there. Routes inside the reserve are ultimately set by the Tiger Reserve authority and can change on the day, and we will always tell you before departure if a circuit is closed.
EXCELLENT Based on 344 reviews Posted on Google Surjesh Kumar KunduTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Comfortable and easy experience. Do not go with the claim of Tiger visibility. You might just not be able to see a Tiger but definitely you will enjoy the boat rides, great tasting home food and the warm, homely ambience. The tour guides and other staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Posted on Google HASNAIN HyzelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Loved the eco village stay and the well-managed Sundarbans tour. A perfect getaway for nature lovers.Posted on Google Rupamoy BhattacharyyaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Treats the soulPosted on Google WondererTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very good overall experience. The most important thing to say is: this is not a safari. The chances of seeing a tiger are extremely low, and crocodiles are also difficult to spot (we saw one very far away). We did see several deer, wild boars, and many birds, but wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Still, the area is unique, peaceful, and definitely worth visiting for the landscape and atmosphere. I recommend doing 2 days / 1–2 nights. The journey from Kolkata is long (around 4–5 hours each way), so a one-day tour feels too rushed. More than two days would probably be unnecessary, as it can become a bit repetitive. The service was excellent throughout — guide, drivers, boat crew, and eco-village staff were all very kind and professional. The food, both at the resort and on the boat, was very good: tasty, clean, and plentiful. I stayed in the deluxe room. In February, air conditioning wasn’t really necessary, so I would probably choose a standard room if visiting in this season (they even looked slightly nicer to me). In hotter months, AC might be more relevant. I didn’t compare prices extensively, but this operator seems oriented toward international travelers. I saw local tourists as well, who probably use more budget options, though those may be less adapted for English-speaking visitors. Overall: well organized, great staff, and a worthwhile experience if you go with realistic expectations.Posted on Google David STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This tour was a great experience! The trip felt very peaceful and calm, with very few people around, which made it relaxing and completely free from crowds or stress. The team was extremely attentive throughout the stay. They were always checking in on us, making sure everything was clear and straightforward. Their support and helpfulness really stood out and made the experience smooth from start to finish. The food was also amazing, easily one of the highlights of the trip. The eco village accommodation was quite rustic. This is understandable given the environmental context and the aim of staying close to nature. However, the overall comfort of the rooms could definitely be improved. I was also a bit surprised by the limited wildlife sightings. Given how vast the Sundarbans area is, I expected to see more fauna. The park tour includes visits to a couple of watchtowers to view the forest from above, but the views felt quite limited, so I am not sure how helpful they really are for spotting wildlife. Despite these points, the overall experience was still very positive, mainly due to the tranquility, the attentive staff, and the excellent food.Posted on Google Richa RawatTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
